Our client is seeking a Warehouse Operator for their Wholesale Distribution Centre, which handles wholesale homewares and related products including floral arrangement assembly. This is a non licensed, entry to intermediate floor role ideal for someone who is accurate, reliable and comfortable working in a team under routine supervision.
Role overview
- Inbound put away, receiving, sorting, checking and putting away stock (container unloading is handled by external contractors)
- Low level picking, packing, weighing, pricing and preparing goods for dispatch
- Rework and returns processing, including relabelling, repacking, price stickering and re boxing customer returns
- Basic WMS terminal use, documentation, periodic stock checks and housekeeping
- Multi-skilling required across inbound support, low level pick, pack and dispatch, and rework or returns
- Flexes into floral assembly and other non licensed tasks as demand requires
- Reports to the Team Leader, no direct reports
