About the Role

This dynamic and busy role will utilise your experience in Medical and Rescue Emergency Response & Injury and Health Management and offer rewarding career chance. You will be part of the site emergency response team by providing first response to all incidents and will be responsible for supporting the site training and HSE activities in a mining environment. This role offers a roster providing work life balance off - 7 on/ 7 off roster with both day/night rotations.

This position is based in Moranbah QLD and is a FIFO role for those who do not reside locally.

Duties include but are not limited to:

- Medical Emergencies and injuries​
- Trauma and workplace incidents
- Cardiac or respiratory emergencies
- Vehicle and machinery incidents
- Fire and Emergency response
- Rescue situations, including Confined space or Working at Heights
- Hazardous material or chemical incidents
- Emergency evacuations and site incidents
- Providing treatment and coordinating with external emergency services

Requirements





- MEDICAL Coal Board Medical - Rescue
- Immunisations - Tetanus, Hepatitis A & B
- Drivers Licence - C Class Open
- Course in Drug and Alcohol Testing- HLTPAT005
- Operate Breathing Apparatus Open Circuit- PUAFIR207
- Identify, Detect and Monitor Hazardous Materials at an Incident- PUAFIR316
- Render Hazardous Materials Incidents Safe- PUAFIR324
- Undertake Road Crash Rescue- PUASAR24
- Undertake Vertical Rescue- PUASAR032

- AHPRA Registered Medical Professional - Paramedic or Nurse
- RII30719 - Certificate III in Emergency Response and Rescue
