About the role
Tulla Health Hub is seeking a Practice Nurse for a well-established busy Medical Centre in Tullamarine. You will work in a team environment providing patient-centered care and performing a range of general practice clinic duties.
- Division 1 or 2 Nurse
- Part-Time + Flexibility
- Previous experience as a GP Practice Nurse preferable
- Friendly and Professional attitude
- Work in a team environment & be patient-centered with positive verbal communication skills
- Have good computer skills
- Able to perform General Practice Clinic duties including administering Vaccinations
Duties will include:
- Care Plans, Health Assessments
- Assisting in minor procedures
- Do wound dressings
- Immunisations (kids, travel, flu, etc)
- Stock ordering & maintaining treatment room supplies
- ECG, Audiometry & Spirometry (hands-on training will be provided)
- Be involved in care of any emergencies as they present.
- Sterilisation of equipment (training will be provided).
- Providing health education to patients.
- Patient Recalls
- Health Kids checks
- Employment medicals
- Other duties
