The Chance:
We are looking for an experienced full time Passive Fire Technician.
About you
- Min 2 years’ experience in Passive Fire Installation and related activities.
- Comprehensive knowledge of all aspects of firestopping procedures and suppliers' systems, including batt, mastic, fire seals and flexible cavity barriers.
- Trade qualified: Carpentry/Gyprocking preferred.
- Using carpentry tools (manual and battery).
- Ability to read and follow technical drawings and plans.
- Fire damper installation and repairs.
- Providing accurate daily working information electronically or otherwise, relating to operational activities, in accordance with any regulatory and company requirements and procedures
- Ensuring all works are carried in line with Company Procedures and Policies (Health and Safety, Control of Hazardous Materials),
in line with WHS regulations.
- Ability to report and clearly communicate with the Supervisor.
- Ability to work unsupervised and carry out tasks as per the relevant Australian Standards.
- Must be physically fit and follow a high standard work ethic.
- Must have a current Driver's License.
