Due to continued growth, we are seeking experienced Senior High Voltage Technician/ Field Service Engineer to join Powertech, supporting our Brisbane Office, on a Full-Time Permanent basis.

About The Role:

n

n
- Commissioning, testing and maintaining HV Protections systems / schemes, experience with IEC61850 / GOOSE communications is highly desirable
n
- Commissioning, testing and maintaining HV Substations secondary systems and primary plant
n
- Commissioning, testing and maintaining various HV/LV Plant/Assets.
n
- Commissioning,



testing and maintaining Power Generation Systems.
n
- Commissioning, testing and maintaining Power Transformers.
n
- Provide technical support and training to technicians.
n
- Provide leadership and supervision to technicians.
n
- Competent in preparation of commissioning/testing documentation, protection test plans and create detailed technical reports on completion of works.
n

About You:

n

n
- Preferable "A Grade" (Fitter and Mechanic) Electrical Workers License or EngineeringDegree must be Engineers Australia recognised.
n
- HV Switching Ticket preferred.
n
- Experience with IEC61850 and GOOSE messaging through IED Scout viewed favourably.
n
- Knowledge of appropriate Australian and International Standards.
n
- Knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation, policies and procedures.
n
- Proven ability meeting project quality, schedule and budget requirements.
n
- Ability to promote a high standard of safety, professionalism and effective communication with both internal and external stakeholders.
n
- Proven experience in using the Omicron suite of equipment for secondary system testing.
n
- Power Station experience viewed favourably.
n
