The Role

n

As a Centre Technician you will be expected to deliver consistent, accurate, high quality service to our customers. You will become a passionate and energetic team member with excellent skills in communication. The job will challenge you to provide solutions and build relationships with a varying range of customers. You will be provided with training and work towards advancing to a Mobile Service Technician. You will report to the Operations Manager.

General Tasks

- Support in daily operation of the Hose Service Centre
n
- Learn hose assembly, Machine / Weld and pipe-bending procedures
n
- Attend to customers' needs at the counter and on the phone
n




- Data entry and stock control duties
n
- Pick-up and deliver goods as required
n

You

n

To be considered for this position you will ideally have:

n

n
- Mechanical Aptitude is preferred
n
- Trades Assistant preferred
n
- A strong understanding of customer service
n
- Good telephone manner
n
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
n
- Ability to carry out instructions
n
- A knowledge of the industry or similar type
n
- Mechanical background
n
- Ability to operate machinery, use tools and measuring devices accurately
n
- Current Manual Drivers' License
n
- Be computer literate and have good literacy and numeracy skills
n
- Well-presented and groomed
n
- Strong work ethic and pride in workmanship
n
- Ability to prioritise to meet deadlines and problem solve
n
- Desire to be a team player
n
- An understanding of WHS and Safe Work Practices
n
- Currently living in / near or willing to relocate to Springwood or surrounding areas
n
