King Street Medical is seeking an experienced and motivated Practice Manager 2IC (Second-in-Charge) to join our busy and growing medical practice.

Working closely with the Practice Manager, you will assist with the day-to-day operations, staff leadership, patient services and administration of the practice. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced medical administrator ready to take the next step into a senior leadership role.

Key Responsibilities

- Support the Practice Manager with daily practice operations
- Provide leadership and support to reception, administration and clinical teams
- Assist with rostering, staff performance, training and onboarding
- Monitor workflows, patient flow and appointment management
- Assist with resolving staff and patient concerns
- Ensure policies, procedures and compliance requirements are followed
- Support Medicare, billing and administrative processes
- Assist with accreditation, quality improvement and practice audits
- Monitor KPIs, data quality and practice performance
- Assist with stock, resources and general practice requirements
- Support the introduction of recent systems and technology
- Identify operational issues and work with the Practice Manager on solutions
- Step into the Practice Manager's duties when required

About You

- Has experience in medical administration
