Job Purpose

n

This is a permanent, full‐time role working within the Service Department. Flexibility on working hours and travel will be required and a strong understanding of customer service and high standards of values.

- Regular routine service of machines and associated equipment
n
- Diagnose and rectify machine problems and breakdowns
n
- New machine installation and training customer in operation, maintenance and safety aspects
n
- Software support and installation
n
- Promote tooling sales and sales of maintenance contracts
n
- Promote sales of machine tools and associated Amada equipment
n

Key Requirements

n

n
- Understanding of electrical/electronic/hydraulic and mechanical drawings and systems
n




- Enthusiastic and self-motivated
n
- Smart and skilled presentation
n
- Ability to work alone and under pressure
n
- Ability to communicate in all situations at all levels of an organisation
n
- Flexible approach to working hours and travel
n
- Requirement to work away from home when necessary
n

- Full training given through structured in‐house and field‐based.
