Job Description
n
Business Analysis and Continuous Improvement
n
n
- Elicit, analyse and validate business requirements with stakeholders
n
- Analyse current‐state "as‐is" processes, systems and data flows
n
- Define future‐state "to‐be" processes, capabilities and operating models
n
- Develop fit‐for‐purpose artefacts including requirements documentation, process maps, business cases and user stories (where applicable)
n
- Maintain requirements traceability and manage scope and change impacts
n
n
Process Improvement
n
n
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, simplification and standardisation
n
- Apply continuous improvement and Lean principles where appropriate
n
- Support benefits identification, measurement and realisation
n
n
Project Delivery and Governance Support
n
n
- Work with project managers and delivery teams to support planning and execution of improvement initiatives
n
- Contribute to initiative intake, prioritisation and portfolio activities
n
- Support testing, implementation planning and change readiness activities
n
- Ensure alignment with organisational governance, assurance and compliance requirements
n
n
Data Reporting and Insights
n
n
- Analyse qualitative and quantitative data to inform evidence‐based decision‐making
n
- Support the development of reports, dashboards and insights for leadership forums
n
- Ensure clarity, integrity and accuracy of analysis and recommendations
n
n
The Successful Applicant
n
Qualifications and Experience
n
n
- Demonstrated experience delivering end‐to‐end business analysis activities, including requirements elicitation, current‐ and future‐state analysis and development of fit‐for‐purpose artefacts
n
- Experience working across multiple business domains and partnering with stakeholders in operations, finance, IT or human resources
n
- Experience working in a for‐purpose, public sector or regulated environment
n
- Tertiary qualification in Business, Information Systems, Finance or a related discipline
n
- Business Analysis certification (e.g. CBAP, CCBA, Agile BA, or equivalent)
n
n
Skills, Knowledge and Behaviours
n
n
- Strong business analysis capability, including process modelling and structured problem‐solving
n
- Ability to analyse and interpret qualitative and quantitative data
n
- High‐level written and verbal communication skills, including producing clear documentation for diverse audiences and senior leaders
n
- Proven facilitation skills across workshops, interviews and working sessions
n
- Ability to influence and collaborate effectively in a matrix environment
n
- Capacity to balance strategic thinking with delivery detail, operating in ambiguity and change
n
- Strong organisation skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
n
- Proactive, solutions‐focused mindset with a continuous improvement orientation
n
