Requirements of Storeperson role:

- Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment
- Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies
- Ensure proper storage and handling of engineering materials
- Ensure goods received match purchase orders and delivery documentation
- Communicate with suppliers regarding shipment status and delivery requirements
- Receive, store, assemble, pack and/or unpack goods
- Assist with the coordination of battery and power operated tools and some plant equipment – maintenance, testing and tagging, cleaning, servicing schedules. (highly desirable but not essential)
- Ensure smooth flow of receiving inbound materials & processing of orders




- Assist Tradesmen as required & directed by the Purchasing Manager or Supervisor
- Maintain stores area in a clean state
- Deliver goods from store to customer locations and maintain consumables across our site
- Load and/or unload vehicles and/or trucks as required. (Forklift/HR license desirable)
- Uphold & obey all workplace WHSE requirements, as instructed by company policies and procedures

Important requirements of the role

- Minimum 2 years' experience as a storeperson
- Proficiency in using an RF system and computer literacy is required
- C-class license
- Previous experience working in an engineering warehouse environment is desirable
