Join a leading retail and consumer goods business recognised for its solid brand presence, innovative products, and customer-first approach. This is an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Lawyer to work across a portfolio of well-known brands, supporting a quick-paced business that blends retail, eCommerce, and product innovation.

n

In this broad and hands-on role, you'll partner with stakeholders across marketing, merchandising, product, operations, and technology, providing practical legal advice that enables growth while managing risk.

n

Key Responsibilities:

n

n
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements, including supplier, distribution, licensing, technology, and marketing contracts.
n
- Advise on consumer law, advertising, promotions, privacy/data protection, and competition law.
n
- Partner with the business on product launches, marketing campaigns, and strategic initiatives to ensure compliance from concept through delivery.
n
- Contribute to governance and risk frameworks, developing policies, procedures, and training programs.
n
- Manage relationships with external legal providers to ensure high-quality and cost-effective outcomes.
n
- Assist with dispute resolution, regulatory engagement, and intellectual property protection.
n

Skills & Experience:

n

n
- 3–6 years' PQE gained in-house or in private practice, with strong commercial law experience.
n




- Strong commercial contract experience with the ability to balance legal risk and business outcomes.
n
- Proven ability in consumer law, privacy/data protection, and corporate governance.
n
- Excellent contract drafting and negotiation skills.
n
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills and a cooperative, solution-oriented approach.
n
