Your role at St John of God Murdoch

As a Patient Administration Officer, you will contribute to a high-performing admissions service by ensuring the integrity, accuracy and timeliness of patient admissions and theatre bookings. You will work closely with patients, clinicians and hospital teams to provide a positive and professional experience at every touchpoint.

St John of God Murdoch currently have permanent full-time, part-time and a number of casual positions available. Applicants will continue to be considered for future positions as they arise across various wards over the next six months.

The Position

- Coordinate and manage patient admissions, theatre bookings and associated documentation.
- Validate admission forms, consents, payments and patient information to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Conduct health fund eligibility checks and obtain quotations for uninsured or uncovered patients.
- Schedule and monitor Pre-Admission Clinic requirements and ensure all required documentation is completed.




- Provide exceptional customer service and support to patients throughout their admissions journey.
- Assist patients with admission enquiries, online forms and registration processes via phone, online chat and in person.
- Welcome and support patients on the day of admission, including patient identification, paperwork completion and liaison with clinical teams.
- Deliver professional reception and switchboard services, ensuring a positive experience for patients, visitors and caregivers.

You will bring strong customer service, communication and organisational skills, attention to detail, a sound understanding of private hospital admissions processes, and experience using MS Office and webPAS. Above all, patient care will be at the core of everything you do committing to and supporting our Mission and Values.

We can offer you

- Salary: $71,352 to $77,022 per annum (pro rata for part-time) plus 12% superannuation
- Casual Hourly Rate: $44.99 to $48.57 per hour (inclusive of casual loading) plus 12% superannuation
- Permanent full-time, part time and casual positions available
- Salary packaging up to $18,550 on a range of benefits such as mortgage, rent, meal entertainment,



holiday accommodation or other everyday living expenses as well as options to salary package benefits above the FBT cap on items such as:
