About the Role
This is a casual, on-call agency position supporting a range of aged care facilities across Port Macquarie.
Shifts are offered based on client demand, so we're looking for reliable AINs who are flexible, responsive, and ready to pick up work when it becomes available. While some shifts may be booked in advance, others may be offered at short notice, making this an ideal opportunity for those seeking flexibility and variety.
Your responsibilities will include
- Providing high-quality personal care and support to residents.
- Assisting with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, dressing, mobility and meals.
- Supporting residents with compassion, dignity and respect.
- Working collaboratively with Registered Nurses and the wider care team.
- Accurately documenting care provided and reporting any changes in residents' condition.
- Following infection control, manual handling and workplace health and safety procedures.
- Being available to accept shifts as they arise, including same-day and short-notice bookings where possible.

Essential Requirements To be considered for this role, applicants must have:
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing, Disability or equivalent) from a nationally recognised Australian RTO.
- Current First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011) (online-only courses not accepted).
- Current CPR Certificate (HLTAID009) (online-only courses not accepted and must be valid within the last 12 months).
- Current Practical Manual Handling Certificate (HLTWHS005) (online-only courses not accepted).
- Current Infection Control Certificate.
- Current National Police Check (issued within 12 months at the time of onboarding and valid for three years) or a current NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A reliable, qualified and compassionate approach to resident care.
- Full Australian working rights.
