Reporting to the EGM of People & Capability you will own the operational engine of the People & Capability function, leading a team, driving a live Workday implementation and holding accountability for payroll, remuneration, systems and workforce analytics across the business. It is a working manager role that sits at the intersection of people, data and commercial performance.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end payroll operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance and continuous improvement.
- Own the total reward and remuneration strategy, including STI and LTI administration, job evaluation and market benchmarking.




- Drive the Workday HCM implementation and ongoing system governance.
- Maintain the governance and policy framework for the People & Capability function.
- Lead workforce reporting, dashboards and analytics; support Executive and Board reporting.
- Manage the annual resourcing budget process and workforce cost modelling.
- Coordinate internal and external audits for the function.
- Oversee onboarding and offboarding system processes and employment contract administration.

About You

You are an experienced HR operations professional with deep expertise across payroll, remuneration and HR systems. You bring solid analytical capability, sound commercial judgement and a working knowledge of Australian employment legislation. You are equally comfortable in the detail and at the stakeholder table.

You will bring

- Demonstrated success and practical experience across remuneration, payroll and HR operations.
- Strong analytical and Excel capability, with an ability to translate data into insight.
- Experience in a resources, mining or similarly complex operational environment.
- Demonstrated experience with HCM platforms. Workday experience highly regarded.
- A collaborative style and the ability to influence across all levels of the business.
- A degree or diploma in HR, business management or finance.
