Myroo Group owns and operates a small fast cat to Beaver Reef and Dunk Island, offering small group reef and island experiences for no more than 50 passengers.

Role Description

n

This is an in office, full-time role based in Mission Beach, QLD. The Lead Deckhand & Snorkel Divemaster will oversee vessel operations, manage rigging tasks, and provide exceptional customer service to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for guests. Responsibilities include daily vessel maintenance, assisting with snorkeling operations, guest briefings, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Effective communication with crew and guests is essential.

- Experience in customer service

- Experience on commercial vessels
n
- Basic machinery maintenance proficiency
n
- Strong communication skills
n
- Excellent physical fitness
n
- Ability to work effectively in a team
n
- Excellent knowledge of the Great Barrier Reef
n
- Queensland First Aid / CPR / Advanced Oxygen
n
- Queensland RSA
n
- Queensland Food Handling Level 2 or higher
