Remedial Building & Engineering Consultant (Graduate /Junior Opportunity)
Integrated Building and Engineering Consultancy – Castle Hill NSW
Don’t decide what type of engineer you want to become… before you've experienced what engineering can be.
Maybe you've just graduated.
Or perhaps you've spent a year or two in a large engineering firm and you're already wondering whether engineering is really what you imagined.
Too much time behind a desk.
Minimal client interaction.
Working on one small piece of a project without ever seeing how it all comes together.
The truth is, many engineers are asked to choose a career path before they've had the chance to experience the breadth of the profession.
At Integrated Building & Engineering Consultancy (Integrated), we believe there's a better way.
Before you decide whether your future is in design, consulting, government or another area of engineering, we'll give you broad, hands‑on experience across real projects, real clients and real problem‑solving.
Because the best career decisions come from experience—not guesswork.
About Integrated
Integrated is a specialist remedial building and engineering consultancy helping solve some of New South Wales' most complex building problems.
For more than 25 years, we've partnered with strata managers, owners corporations, building managers, contractors and legal professionals to investigate building defects, diagnose technical issues and guide projects through to successful remediation.
Unlike many consultancies that simply identify problems and provide a report, we stay involved throughout the entire journey—from investigation and diagnosis through to contract administration, quality assurance and project completion.
We're passionate about solving complex problems, helping people protect their buildings and developing the next generation of trusted building and engineering consultants.
Build a consulting career—not just engineering experience.
Every week is different.
One day you'll be on site investigating building defects.
The next you'll be assisting with residential strata inspections,
working alongside experienced consultants, helping investigate water ingress, meeting contractors, contributing to reports or supporting projects through to successful rectification.
You'll experience the complete consulting journey—from identifying and diagnosing complex building problems through to helping facilitate practical solutions and seeing projects successfully completed.
You'll spend approximately half your week on site and half in the office, giving you the perfect balance between technical work and face‑to‑face interaction.
Most importantly, you'll see the positive impact your work has on real people and the communities they live in.
Learn directly from experienced consultants.
Daniel, Matthew and our senior consultants have years of experience in helping clients solve some of the most challenging building problems across New South Wales.
You’ll never be left to simply "figure it out."
Instead, you'll receive:
- Weekly one-on-one mentoring
- Regular shadowing with experienced consultants
- Progressive responsibility as your confidence grows
- An open-door culture where questions are encouraged
- Honest feedback designed to accelerate your development
- The opportunity to learn not only what we do—but why we do it
We don't expect you to know everything.
We expect you to be curious.
A Message from Daniel
"When I started my career, the biggest difference wasn't the projects I worked on—it was the people who invested their time in teaching me. That's exactly what I want to do for the next generation of consultants.
If you join our team, you won't spend years sitting behind a desk doing the same task every day. You'll work alongside experienced consultants,
get out on site, solve real problems and gradually take on more responsibility as your confidence grows.
Our goal isn't to keep you as a junior engineer. Our goal is to help you become a consultant who clients trust and who can confidently manage your own projects. If you're willing to learn, ask questions and get involved, we'll invest in helping you build a career you can be proud of.
— Daniel, Director
