We're partnering with a growing Australian SaaS business looking to hire a Lead Software Engineer to work closely with the CTO and help shape the future of a large-scale platform.

This is a hands-on technical leadership role where you'll influence architecture, mentor engineers, and help drive engineering standards while remaining close to the code.

What you'll be doing

- Leading technical design and architectural decisions across a modern SaaS platform.
n
- Mentoring and supporting a team of engineers across backend, DevOps and QA.
n
- Driving engineering best practices, scalability, security and platform reliability.
n
- Collaborating with Product and Engineering leaders to deliver complex technical initiatives.
n
- Contributing to recruitment, technical leadership and continuous improvement.

We're looking for someone with

n

n
- Robust experience building scalable SaaS products using C#/.NET.
n
- Previous experience as a Lead Engineer, Technical Lead, Principal Engineer or Software Architect.
n
- Strong architectural and system design experience.
n
- Experience mentoring engineers and leading technical delivery.
n
- Melbourne based with Australian working rights - hybrid working from CBD office
n
