Location: The Gap, Brisbane QLD 4061

Salary: $70,000–$90,000 per year (commensurate with skill and experience)

What We're Looking For

n

n
- At least 6 years' experience in residential building and renovations
n
- Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent
n
- Skilled in carpentry, with own tools and reliable vehicle
n
- Well-mannered, well-dressed, and respectful to colleagues and clients
n
- Able to work efficiently both independently and in a cooperative team
n

Responsibilities

n

n
- Builds and installs structural elements including framing, and subfloors, ensuring all parts are level and correctly aligned.
n
- Read architectural drawings, designs, blueprints to construct and build structures and building.
n
- Build, install, renovate, or repair various fixtures and frameworks using timber, metal, and composite panels.
n
- Attaching fascia boards, securing external cladding, and installing windows and door frames.
n
- May build concrete formwork.
n




- Sources and organises timber and construction materials, setting out initial layouts accordingly.
n
- Shapes and trims components, joins them with fixings, and assembles them into position.
n
