Behind every posy and gift jar that leaves our warehouses is a supply chain that has to be sharp, fast and accurate. That's where you come in.

The opportunity

We're looking for a Purchasing & Inventory Coordinator to take ownership of stock across our Australian operations.

This is the whole inventory function, not a support role. You'll report directly to our National Operations Manager, and you'll be the person who knows what we have, what we need, what it costs and what's coming. When we're deciding how much to buy ahead of Mother's Day, you're the one we're asking.

What you'll be doing

Raising and managing purchase orders with an eye on stock holding, MOQs and cost per unit

Maintaining a healthy 4-6 week in-stock position by SKU across our national network

Forecasting demand and flagging risk early - before it becomes a stockout or an overbuy

Negotiating with existing suppliers and sourcing new ones to bring packaging and non-floral costs down

Coordinating stock transfers between our warehouses

Keeping Cin7 and Shopify accurate, current and genuinely useful

Coordinating stocktakes and keeping shrinkage below 1%





Managing sold-out messaging on the website so we're only ever showing what's really unavailable

Keeping packing slips up to date as products are added, changed or retired

Building and circulating the monthly trade report - analysed and summarised, not just numbers on a page

During peak periods like Valentine's Day and Mother's Day, you'll be planning weeks ahead so the warehouses have exactly what they need on the day.

You'll be a great fit if you

Have 2+ years in purchasing, inventory, merchandise planning or something similar

Know your way around Shopify and Cin7 (or a comparable system - DEAR, Unleashed, NetSuite)

Are strong in Google Sheets - you build the model, you don't just fill it in

Can look at a data set and tell us what it means and what we should do about it

Have done demand forecasting before and understand what makes it go wrong

Communicate clearly with remote team mates interstate

Are highly organised, detail-obsessed, and calm when a few things land at once

Take initiative and enjoy finding practical fixes to everyday problems
