Position

n

Christian Dior Australia & New Zealand is offering an unpaid internship for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Finance Intern to join our Finance team. This is a fantastic learning prospect designed to support your university studies in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. As a Finance Intern, you'll gain invaluable practical experience and insights into the workings of a finance department within a leading luxury brand. You'll be exposed to various aspects of finance, including Accounting and Accounts Payable, complementing your academic knowledge with real-world application.

Key Responsibilities

n

- Accounting Support:n n
- Assist with the preparation of journal entries and reconciliations.
n
- Learn and assist with the month-end and year-end closing processes.
n
- Assist with maintaining accurate financial records.
n

n
- Accounts Payable Support:n

n
- Assist with vendor creation, processing invoices and payments.
n
- In partnership with the AP team, reconcile vendor statements.
n
- Assist with maintaining accurate accounts payable records.
n

n
- General Finance Support:n

n
- Provide general administrative support to the Finance team.
n
- Assist with ad-hoc projects as required.
n




- Gain exposure to various aspects of a fully functioning local finance team.
n

Qualifications And Experience

n

n
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field at an Australian or New Zealand university.
n
- Strong academic record.
n
- Basic understanding of accounting principles.
n
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
n
- Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills.
n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
n
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
n
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
n
- Strong willingness to learn.
n
