Responsibilities

n

n
- Assist clinicians and team members with patient preparation.
n
- Prepare and maintain operating suite equipment.
n
- Provide safe patient transport within the operating suite and interdepartmental transfers.
n
- Demonstrate an inclusive mindset to thrive in a multi-cultural environment.

Qualifications

n

n
- Certificate III in Health Services Assistance (Specialising in Operating Theatre Technician) or above.
n
- Be flexible, with good communication skills and a willingness to learn.
n
- Have an understanding of medical terminology and be able to fulfil the technical requirements of the role.
n
- Have best practice in delivering patient-centred care.
n
- Have well‐developed understanding of relevant safe work practices.
n

Salary range for Theatre Technicians: A$59,718 – A$73,037 + super + entitlements dependent on year level (pro-rated for part-time).
