Published Children's Book Author and Illustrator / Early Childhood Literature Educator

Responsibilities
n
We're on a mission to bring children's stories to life.
n
2-5 years of age and 6-9 years of age.
n
We're developing a community of early childhood authors and illustrators that would like to be published or have their stories take to the stage.
n
Our leading facilitators will initially be volunteers and will support and encourage the development of unpublished authors and their stories.
n
n
- Hold community members accountable to continuous improvement
n
- Have weekly themed education sessions
n
- Provide a supportive and engaging environment
n
- In person meets once a week
n
- Support the building and development of a network
n
- Contribute to the development of a long term strategy which may include:
n
- online network
n
- publishing stories and
n
- developing a travelling theatre
n
n
Qualifications
n
Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood), or
n
Bachelor of Arts (Children's Literature) or
n
Children's Literature and Literacy
n
Graduate program in early childhood education
n

n

We're bringing together a team of people who are experts in their field, great educators, and have a keen interest in quality storytelling and the development of children.
n
We aim to bring together stories that take children on a journey of discovery, stories that educate, are fun, nonsensical, and bring their imaginations to life. We aim to focus on the age range of 2-5 and 6-9 year old children.
n
This is the start of an amazing journey and we're looking to bring together an incredible team.
