Opportunity

n

We are looking for a Corrosion Engineer to join our multidisciplinary water team in Newcastle. The role offers a career path focused on corrosion science within a supportive and inclusive environment.

Responsibilities

n

n
- Onsite condition assessment of water industry assets such as pipelines, reservoirs, treatment plants and network assets (pump stations).
n
- Electrochemical testing of soils and water.
n
- Preparation and review of durability plans.
n
- Failure analysis of events: investigating causes and developing solutions to prevent future defects.
n
- Writing clear and concise reports to communicate findings to clients.
n

Qualifications

n

n
- Bachelor's degree in materials, civil engineering or equivalent.
n




- Strong problem‐solving skills and ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
n
- Well‐developed written and verbal communication skills.
n
- Passion for learning and mentoring junior team members.
n
- Willingness to travel to client sites across NSW, as needed.
n
- Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces.
n
- Experience with ROV and/or RPAS is an advantage.
n
- Knowledge of risk management and design‐related risk identification.
n
- Commitment to safety and adherence to HSEQ systems.
n
