Join a supportive two year program where you will build your clinical confidence, broaden your experience and develop your skills with structured education, mentoring and support across diverse metro and rural clinical rotations.

As a Graduate Physiotherapist, you will provide entry level physiotherapy services across a range of clinical rotations at Princess Alexandra Hospital while developing your clinical knowledge, skills and confidence under the supervision of experienced physiotherapists. This is a 24 month temporary full time position commencing January 2027. You will:

- Experience a diverse range of clinical areas through eight 3 month rotations, including opportunities across cardiorespiratory, critical care, acute medical care, rehabilitation, orthopaedics, neurosciences, musculoskeletal services, cancer services and community services.
- Develop your clinical skills and confidence through supervised practice, mentoring, professional development and exposure to increasingly complex clinical decision making.
- Broaden your experience beyond the tertiary hospital setting, with four graduates offered a 3 month rural rotation at Charleville Hospital encompassing primary health care, outpatients, inpatients and outreach services.

About You You are a motivated new graduate ready to build on your university learning and develop your career in a supportive and diverse clinical environment. You will bring a commitment to evidence-based practice, effective communication and a willingness to learn and grow as a physiotherapist. To be successful, you will demonstrate:

- Knowledge and developing skills in physiotherapy clinical practice,



with the ability to apply established and evidence-based principles under the supervision of experienced physiotherapists.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work cooperatively with patients, families, carers and members of the multidisciplinary team.
- A commitment to professional development and continuous learning, with the ability to develop your knowledge and skills and contribute to quality and service improvement activities.

To apply, you must have completed your first university undergraduate course or graduate-entry qualification between January 2026 and January 2027 and hold full registration with AHPRA at the time of commencement. What We Can Offer You

About Us The Princess Alexandra Hospital (PAH) is a tertiary health care centre providing care in most major adult specialties. We provide world class health care to Brisbane City's southern suburbs across emergency, medical, mental health and surgical services,



including liver and kidney transplant. We are nationally recognised for our expertise in trauma management and organ transplants and are one of Australia's leading academic and research health centres. The PAH as a major medical research precinct hosts Australia's most advanced medical research facility, the Translational Research Institute (TRI) as well as a new Clinical Research Facility for the discoveries made at TRI to be trialed in a safe clinical environment.

We're expanding our hospital to make sure everyone gets the care they need. We're adding more beds, modernising our buildings, and improving our spaces to treat kidney and cancer patients with all new services and facilities planned to open by 2027.
