Melbourne (preferred) or Sydney | Fixed term | Financial Services sector
This role is the bridge between sales and marketing.
You'll sit at the centre of a global IT services leader's Financial Services business, connecting the client-facing sales teams (who manage some of Australia's largest banks and insurers) with the corporate marketing and events function, and making sure nothing falls through the gap.
Sales needs collateral, events and campaigns that actually land with customers. Marketing needs someone who understands what the accounts need. You're the person who translates between the two and drives it all to execution.
This is a 12 to 14 month engagement covering parental leave, with a proper handover period built in. The work is genuinely varied: one week you're building collateral for a US study tour, the next you're managing sponsorship and logistics for a major industry summit.
What you'll do:
- Act as the connection point between FSI sales teams and corporate marketing, ensuring global campaigns and launches land locally in a way that works for customers
- Partner with sales and BD teams to drive engagement across strategic banking and insurance accounts
- Develop case studies,
executive presentations and client-facing collateral (a creative services team handles design polish)
- Plan and deliver customer events end to end: roundtables, industry summits, study tours and partnership events, including sponsorship analysis, invitations and logistics
- Lead internal comms including town halls, newsletters and social presence
- Coordinate sales plays and enablement materials across stakeholders
What you'll bring:
- 5+ years in customer engagement, marketing, sales enablement or event management, ideally in or around financial services
- Grounding in a large multinational corporate workplace
- High energy and genuine execution focus. This role is about following through and getting things done, not just producing nice materials
- Confidence to work with senior stakeholders and keep multiple teams moving
- Proactive, self-sufficient, and comfortable herding cats
The details:
12 to 14 month max term contract . Melbourne preferred, Sydney considered. Minimal travel. Start in approximately 4-6 weeks with a paid crossover week alongside the incumbent.
