About the role

n

We are seekinga passionateand experienced Grade 1 or 2 Pharmacist to join our Pharmacy Department. We operate five pharmacy departments located across Eastern Melbourne that strongly value professional development and clinical education.We have an ongoing commitment to practice-based research and offer opportunities for involvement to all staff.

n

This position is based at Angliss Hospital and will rotate to Wantirna Health and Peter James Centre when adequately trained.Participation in weekend and public holiday shifts and on-call roster isrequiredonce trained. There will also be opportunities to pick up extra shifts at any of theEastern Health sitesif interested.

n

Our pharmacists are supported by a broad multidisciplinary team, and we welcome pharmacists from the community and private healthcare sectors to apply.

About you

n

To be successful in this role you will possess:

n

n
- Current pharmacist registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
n
- Previoushospital pharmacist or community pharmacist experience.
n
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills.
n
- A strong commitment tohigh-qualitycare.
n
- The ability to work as partof a diverse team.
n

Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in theAustralian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice). Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role, and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment.
