As our Business Development Manager based in Brisbane, you'll play a key role in driving Cachet Group's growth by identifying new opportunities, building meaningful relationships, and strengthening our market presence across the region. You'll be responsible for managing the full 360° business development process – from prospecting and lead generation to client introductions, presentations, and handover to project teams once live.

This role suits someone who thrives on connection, has a strong understanding of the property, design, or construction sector, and enjoys turning opportunities into partnerships!

What You'll Be Doing

n
- Lead generation & research – Identify, qualify, and nurture new opportunities.
n
- Client introductions – Plan and execute regular current‐client outreach through calls, meetings, and presentations, meeting set activity targets.
n
- Networking & events – Represent Cachet at industry events, develop your personal network, and contribute to our visibility.
n
- Relationship management – Build trusted relationships with clients, partners, and peers.
n
- Marketing & brand alignment – Collaborate with our marketing team to refine collateral, drive social and media exposure, and identify local partnership opportunities.
n
- Competitor and market insight – Stay informed on market movements, competitors, and emerging opportunities to keep us ahead of the curve.
n
- CRM & reporting – Maintain an accurate, up‐to‐date pipeline in Pipedrive and report on metrics to track growth and progress.
n

About You
n
You're a confident communicator with strong commercial instincts and a passion for creating meaningful business connections.
n
n
- Proven experience in business development or client relationship roles, preferably in property, design, or construction but we are also open to strong experience in similar industries.
n
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills – you connect easily and communicate with impact.
n
- A proactive, self‐driven approach with the ability to plan, prioritise, and deliver results independently.
n
- Sound judgement, problem‐solving ability, and a solutions‐oriented mindset.
n
- A calm, professional, and positive attitude with a focus on outcomes and relationships.
n
- Strong business literacy and numeracy for accurate reporting and analysis.
n
- A genuine interest in design, space, and how environments can shape experiences.
n
