What you'll be doing:

n

We are looking for an ambitious, detailed and driven Finance Partner to join our high performing FP&A; division. The objective of the role is to provide effective planning, analysis and advice on all financial aspects within the portfolio of departments you are allocated. With a commercial focus, this role will ensure the initiatives and processes are in place to deliver the business unit requirements & targets.

You will be required to come into our Brisbane based office at least 3 days per week (with flexible hours and the ability to work from home up to 2 days per week).

Further responsibilities:

n

n
- Preparation and presentation of the management packs for the portfolio
n
- Deliver budget and forecasts in a timely manner that meets strategic and financial deliverables for the portfolio
n
- Maintain a solid working relationship with Group Finance and key external stakeholders
n
- Provide commercial and strategic support to the Senior Management Team in relation to financial targets, efficiency and delivery of key business priorities
n
- Monitor and appropriately challenge senior leaders on business performance and forecasts to drive to agreed targets, reduce conservatism and increase accuracy
n
- Delivery of internal/external benchmarking & ongoing performance assessment against key competitors
n
- Provide input into scoping, analysis and sign-off of modelled financial benefits for business cases & initiatives
n
- Manage the provision of ad-hoc, value add financial analysis that ultimately drives value into the business
n
- Contribute to the development and review of all contracts to ensure financial integrity and adherence to Finance policies e.g. payment terms, limiting risk exposure. Where required, co-ordinate input from other relevant Finance groups

You'll be great in this role if you:

n

n
- Tertiary qualification in Business/Commerce/ Economics. CA/ CPA preferred.
n




- Extensive budgeting and forecasting experience
n
- Financial/Management reporting experience
n
- Strong ability to build relationships with stakeholders with experience in a business support function
n
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to prepare and deliver quality reports in Powerpoint
n
- A solid problem solver with attention to detail
n
- Demonstrable systems abilities and a high level of computer literacy, including Advanced Excel spread sheet and financial modelling
n
- Prior experience with FP&A; and ERP systems preferred (OneStream, TM1, Oracle)
n
