Head Chef – 80k + 12% Super (Pro Rata). Accommodation support provided! Moss Vale location in a wonderful Southern Highlands setting. Monday to Friday roster offering work–life balance.

Nestled on 169 acres in the Southern Highlands of NSW, the school provides a holistic education grounded in care, curriculum and communication. This role offers the opportunity to deliver a seamless food service and create high‐quality meals for students, while running the kitchen efficiently. You will lead a team of up to five in a supportive and welcoming setting, ensuring consistency, quality and a positive experience for all.

The Position

n

n
- Responsible for direction, coaching and hands‐on support to drive a strong onsite team.
n
- Lead menu design, food preparation and high‐quality service delivery across all offerings.
n
- Plan, supervise and monitor production for functions and daily in‐house catering.
n




- Build strong relationships while maintaining excellence in food safety, allergen control and OHS.
n
- Oversee procurement, stock management, cost control and minimise food wastage.
n

The Person

n

n
- Available to commit to the full contract period - July‐ December 2026
n
- Qualified chef with minimum Cert III in Commercial Cookery
n
- Creative culinary leader, strong presentation skills, and a passion for seasonal, local produce
n
- Engaging communicator able to build positive relationships with staff, clients and students
n
- Experienced team mentor with a track record in training, developing and guiding teams and delivering corporate‐style functions
n
- Adaptable and energetic professional who can multitask, forward‐plan, remain focused in changing environments
n
- Hold (or obtain) a Working with Children Check
