We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join our maintenance team based in Rocklea. This is a hands-on role responsible for maintaining, repairing and improving a wide range of industrial plant and equipment to ensure safe and productive operations.

If you're a trade-qualified Mechanical Fitter who enjoys fault finding, preventative maintenance and working in a quick-paced industrial environment, we'd love to hear from you.

What you'll be doing:

- Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance on plant and equipment.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical faults efficiently using technical drawings and manuals.




- Ensure equipment reliability and minimise downtime across the site.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
- Work closely with operations and maintenance teams to support production requirements.
- Adhere to all safety procedures, including Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) requirements.
- Shutdown work will be required at times

What you'll bring:

- Certificate III in Mechanical Fitting or Fitting and Machining.
- Minimum 5 years' post-trade experience as a Maintenance Fitter in an industrial environment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Experience with MIG welding and fabrication repairs.
- Strong mechanical fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
- Hydraulics experience will be highly regarded.
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
- Sound understanding of Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, proactive and safety-focused approach to work.
