Steelers Club is seeking a reliable, enthusiastic and multi-skilled Club Attendant to join our team.
This is a varied role suited to someone who enjoys working across different areas of a busy registered club environment. You will have the chance to work across Bar, Gaming, Cellar, Day and Late-Night Reception, providing excellent customer service while supporting the smooth operation of the Club. You must be available to work weekends and night shifts.
No two shifts will necessarily be the same, so flexibility and a willingness to learn are essential.
Key responsibilities
Depending on the roster and operational requirements, your duties may include:
Bar & Gaming
- Providing friendly, professional service to members and guests.
- Preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee and cocktails.
- Restocking and maintaining bar areas and supplies.
- Providing tray service.
- Providing gaming service across gaming machines, TAB and Keno.
- Assisting with gaming machine clearances when required.
- Maintaining clean and presentable bar, gaming and patron areas.
- Checking customer identification and monitoring customer behaviour.
- Following all responsible service and harm minimisation requirements.
Late-Night Reception
- Welcoming and assisting members and guests.
- Signing in members and guests in accordance with Club requirements.
- Checking identification and processing Club memberships.
- Assisting patrons with enquiries.
- Refusing entry to banned, self-excluded, intoxicated or other persons where required.
- Assisting management with patron management when required.
- Recording and reporting incidents appropriately.
Cellar
- Ensuring bars are stocked and ready for trade.
- Receiving, unloading and storing beverage deliveries.
- Checking delivery dockets and invoices against received stock.
- Maintaining stock rotation and cellar presentation.
- Changing beer kegs and gas cylinders.
- Assisting with functions and event setup and pack-down.
- Maintaining a clean and tidy cellar, storage and external areas.

Essential Requirements
You will need:
- Current NSW Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)
- Current NSW Responsible Conduct of Gambling (RCG)
- Must be available to work night shift
Previous experience in a licensed club, hospitality, security, warehouse or cellar environment will be highly regarded. Experience with beverage stock and keg systems will also be an advantage. Advanced Responsible Conduct of Gambling (ARCG) (Preferred).
