About the role

Believe Early Education is seeking a passionate and experienced Part-Time Lead Educator for our 2 to 3 age group. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on early childhood development in a supportive and nurturing setting. Based in Logan Reserve, QLD, this part-time position offers the flexibility to balance your career with other commitments whilst delivering high-quality early childhood education and care.

As Lead

Educator, you will be responsible for creating safe, clean and engaging learning experiences and environments, fostering emotional development, and building strong relationships with the children in your care and their families.

Key responsibilities

- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate learning activities and routines tailored to the 2 to 3 age group

- Create a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment that encourages exploration, play-based learning and social interaction

- Observe and assess each child's development, documenting progress and identifying individual learning needs

- Build positive relationships with children and families, maintaining regular communication about each child's learning and wellbeing

- Support children's emotional, social, physical and cognitive development through responsive interactions and guidance

- Maintain high standards of health, safety and hygiene in accordance with childcare regulations and centre policies

- Collaborate with fellow educators and support staff to ensure consistent care practices across the room





- Participate in professional development and reflect on practice to continually improve the quality of education and care provided

- Contribute to the maintenance of a welcoming and organised learning space

What we're looking for

- A valid Australian childcare qualification (Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent)

- Current First Aid and CPR certification appropriate for early childhood settings

- Working with Children Check clearance or willingness to obtain one

- Demonstrated experience working with toddlers in an early childhood education setting

- Strong understanding of early childhood development and play-based learning approaches

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
- A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development

- Ability to remain calm, patient and flexible in a busy early childhood environment and work as part of a large team.

- Commitment to maintaining professionais standards and upholding duty of care responsibilities

- Knowledge of the National Quality Standard and Early Years Learning Framework is preferred

- Flexibility to work any shift across 5 days between the hours of 6.15am to 6.30pm

- Willingness to be a responsible person in the absences of the Centre Manager.
