ACCOUNTS COORDINATOR | FASHION IN SYDNEY

We're looking for a detail-driven and proactive Accounts Coordinator to join a Sydney-based fashion brand. This is a unique chance to develop your finance career within an Australian label known for its commitment to design, sustainability, and ethical values.

Location: Sydney - parking available.

Salary: $80k-$90k + super (can be negotiable depending on experience).

n

Working arrangements: hybrid, 2 days WFH.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

n

n
- Accounts Management: Oversee invoices, payments, and reconciliations (Bank, PayPal, Shopify), ensuring accuracy and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
n
- Reporting & Compliance: Assist with month-end and year-end reporting, including journal entries, intercompany reconciliations, BAS, FBT, and fixed asset register maintenance.
n




- Accounts Payable & Receivable: Manage AP/AR processes and handle multi-currency and foreign exchange transactions.
n
- Financial Process Improvement: Contribute to refining financial systems and workflows to enhance efficiency.
n
- Payroll Processing: Prepare and process payroll, superannuation, payroll tax, commissions, and manage leave liabilities and related reporting.
n
- HR Support: Draft contracts, maintain HR records, assist with onboarding, reviews, and monitor staff leave entitlements.

REQUIREMENTS

n

n
- Experience in finance, accounts, or coordination roles.
n
- Exposure to fashion, retail, or creative industries.
n
- Proficient in Excel and Xero, and experience with Harmony is a plus.
n
- Detail-oriented with a proactive, problem-solving approach.
n
- Strong communication skills and comfortable in small, agile teams.
n
- Finance-related qualifications desirable; full Australian working rights required.
n
