About the role

n

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Clinical Nurse to join a well-established aged care facility in beautiful Port Douglas. Working closely with the Clinical Care Manager, you will play a key role in driving clinical excellence and supporting a high standard of person‐centred care.

n

You will provide leadership, mentorship, and clinical guidance to nursing and care staff, helping to uplift capability and ensure best practice outcomes for residents.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Support the delivery of high-quality, person‐centred care
n
- Assist in setting and maintaining clinical standards aligned with best practice
n
- Mentor and guide Registered Nurses and care staff
n
- Complete AN-ACC documentation and comprehensive assessments
n




- Lead and support clinical areas including:n n
- Continence management
n
- Wound care
n
- Medication management
n

n
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal resident outcomes
n
- Delegate tasks and provide clinical oversight to the care team
n

n

To be successful you will have

n

n
- Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
n
- Robust clinical knowledge and advanced nursing skills
n
- Passion for aged care and improving resident outcomes
n
- Confident leader with the ability to mentor and support teams
n
- Positive, proactive and team-focused approach
n
- Strong communication and organisational skills
n
- Comfortable using clinical systems and technology
n

n

Requirements

n

n
- Current AHPRA registration
n
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
n
- Current CPR Certificate
n
- Up-to-date Influenza vaccination and COVID-19 vaccination
n
- Ability to work a rotating roster, including weekends and nights
n
