Senior BI Developer - Power BI / Snowflake / Azure

Hybrid (3 days onsite - Eastern Suburbs)

A leading organisation in Melbourne's Eastern Suburbs is seeking a Senior BI Developer to drive a major reporting uplift project. This role is highly business-facing, ideal for someone who can gather requirements, present insights clearly, and train end users.

n

You'll be rebuilding legacy reports into Power BI, working with Snowflake as the data warehouse, and owning the end-to-end flow from data source → model → dashboard.

The Role

n

n
- Migrate legacy Crystal Reports into Power BI (core focus for first 12-18 months)
n
- Build dashboards, models, DAX measures, and optimise performance
n
- Work with Snowflake as the primary data warehouse
n
- Understand end-to-end data flow (pipelines already built)
n
- Train, onboard, and present to business users
n
- Work on BAU support/change requests (10-20%)
n

n





Ideal Experience

n

n
- Robust Power BI + advanced DAX
n
- Snowflake (schemas, views, SQL)
n
- Azure Data Factory exposure
n
- Experience migrating or rebuilding legacy reporting
n
- Strong presentation + stakeholder engagement skills
n
- Understanding of data security (RLS, permissions)
n
- Able to work onsite 3 days/week in the Eastern Suburbs
n
