Salary: EBA-aligned rates from approximately $79,000 - $111,000 + super, depending on experience and classification, plus applicable penalties, allowances and casual loading where relevant.

This is a great opportunity for a Registered Nurse with perioperative scrub/scout experience to join a busy private theatre department in the Newcastle region, with the chance to build skills across a broad range of surgical specialties.

The Role

n

As a Scrub or Scout Nurse, you will work as part of a multidisciplinary theatre team, providing instrument and circulating support across a wide surgical case mix.

n

There is genuine scope to build experience across specialties including neurosurgery, robotic, vascular and cardiothoracic surgery, alongside general, orthopaedic and other core lists.

n

This role would suit someone who enjoys theatre work, values teamwork, and wants the flexibility to choose full-time, part-time or casual employment.

About You

n

You will be an experienced Scrub or Scout Nurse who is confident working in a perioperative department and committed to delivering excellent patient care.

n

- Current AHPRA registration (Registered Nurse Division 1)
n
- Previous experience working as a Scrub / Scout Nurse in a Perioperative department
n
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
n
- A commitment to a team workplace
n
- Demonstrated excellence in written and verbal communication
n
- Demonstrated commitment to customer service and quality improvement
n
- Experience working within vascular, cardiothoracic and orthopaedic surgery
n

Final remuneration will depend on classification, experience, employment type and applicable EBA conditions.
