Rare Real Estate Focussed Role within Renewable Energy Company!

Our client is a market-leading global renewable energy developer, owner and operator who due to growth is looking to appoint a real estate focussed lawyer to their impressive legal team.

The Opportunity

n

This is a growth position for a specialist property lawyer with renewable energy experience who understands the commercial realities of land access and tenure arrangements within large-scale energy infrastructure projects. You will work closely with a Head of Legal and General Counsel as part of a broader team.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

The successful candidate will drive negotiation and execution of early-stage land access and tenure arrangements. As part of this role you will structure and advise on option deeds, access agreements, easements, licences and full land tenure frameworks.

n

You will provide regulatory advise in relation to native title, cultural heritage, planning and environmental approvals and identify risk and deliver commercial solutions aligned with project delivery.

Key Requirements

n





The ideal candidate will have between 4-7 years PQE in real estate law with strong exposure to renewables from a leading law firm or in house team. Ideally you will have full lifecycle exposure of land agreements within the renewable sector.

You will have demonstrated experience advising on and interacting with regulatory frameworks across Native Title, Cultural Heritage, Planning Approvals, Environmental Approvals, Land tenure and access frameworks.

- Ability to operate autonomously with a level of confidence advising, negotiating and drafting without close supervision.

- Commercially pragmatic and delivery-focused.

- Strong stakeholder management capability.
