What we are looking for in the successful candidate:

n

Experience as a survey assistant with or without formal qualifications

n

However applicants without survey experience but with construction experience are encouraged to apply

n

Currently/or beginning to study Surveying

n

Driver's licence and own vehicle

n

A genuine desire to have a career in the surveying and construction industries

n

Be trustworthy and reliable

n

Self motivated with good problem-solving skills

n

Willingness to learn and take advantage of the opportunities that will be offered to them

- Road Widenings & Associated Infrastructure works

- Level & Feature Surveys for council submissions of proposed construction works

- Multi Storey Buildings

Using the following Survey equipment:

n

- Robotic Total Stations
n
- GPS Rovers
n
- Drone/Aerial Surveys
n

n

Duties will include:

n

Assisting the Survey party leaders in field-based tasks including but not limited to

n

Through this work the successful candidate will be gaining exposure to all aspects of survey and building a skill set that will enable them to

n

n
- Carry out survey field work
n
- Perform surveying and spatial computations
n
- Perform Level and feature surveys for design & council planning
n
- Deliver As constructed surveys following completion of works
n
- Produce Plans of a high quality
n
- Complete Settlement monitoring surveys
n
- GPS Rovers & providing support for machine guidance for excavators and plant
n
