Service Delivery Administrator - Community-led Safe Spaces

Roses in the Ocean is a national not for profit organisation founded on and operating through the lens of lived experience of suicide; we exist to save lives and reduce emotional pain. We seek to lead the significant cultural shift needed to save lives through harnessing the perspectives of all we represent, along with our own lived experience of suicide. With our actions driven and guided by those with a lived experience of suicide, we strive to innovate and transform suicide prevention, drive and deliver system reform and support organisations and government to effectively and meaningfully integrate lived experience expertise into suicide prevention.

Everyone who works within Roses in the Ocean has a lived experience of suicide which is defined as ‘having experienced suicidal thoughts, survived a suicide attempt, cared for someone through suicidal crisis, or been bereaved by suicide.’

About the role

Reporting to the Head of Community-led Safe Spaces (CLSS) the Service Delivery Administrator is responsible for supporting the delivery of various Community-Led safe spaces projects and services through administrative tasks and duties.

The Service Delivery Administrator takes ownership of the logistical and administrative requirements for the CLSS team, collaborating with the wider Service Delivery team and the broader Roses in the Ocean team as required.

This role will suit someone who enjoys working collaboratively, is highly organised, and can confidently manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment. Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends is required to support community activities and events.

In this role, you will:

Support the day-to-day administration of our Community-Led Safe Spaces program.

Coordinate meetings, consultations, reporting, and project activities across multiple Safe Space sites.

Help onboard and support volunteers who contribute to Safe Space delivery.

Maintain systems, records, resources, and project tracking tools.

Assist with preparing reports, newsletters, and program communications.

Support financial administration, invoicing, and budget tracking processes.

Build positive relationships with colleagues, community partners, stakeholders, and evaluators.





Contribute to projects and initiatives that strengthen the impact of Roses in the Ocean's services.

To succeed in this role, there are some essentials you’ll need:

Lived experience of suicide and a deep understanding of its impact on families, workplaces, friends, and communities.

Must be able to work flexible times including some evenings and weekends (time in lieu arrangements negotiable)

Previous experience in the administration of Services Delivery and/or Project Management.

Proven high-level administration and organisational skills.

Demonstrated capacity to maintain confidentiality and professional standards of behaviour in difficult and sensitive circumstances.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Demonstrated ability to communicate and liaise effectively and sensitively at all levels, both internally and externally.

Proactive, collaborative mindset and demonstrated capacity to work independently and within a team environment.

Proven time management logistics and problem-solving skills and the ability to balance conflicting priorities and work to deadlines.

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Office 365, Monday.com and SharePoint. A working knowledge of Volaby would be beneficial.

A current Working with Children Check

Complete a national criminal history check
