Sandridge Roads Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced and qualified Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to join our team in Dalmore, VIC. This is a full-time role working under our Workshop Manager. A company vehicle will be provided.
What you’ll be doing
- Perform scheduled maintenance, servicing and repairs on diesel-powered plant machinery, trucks and equipment.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues with engines, transmissions, electrical systems, and other components
- Test and calibrate equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Collaborate with the operations team to ensure equipment is well-maintained and available for use
What we’re looking for
- Formal qualification in Automotive Heavy Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Diesel Mechanic, preferably in the construction or infrastructure industry
- Solid technical knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems
- A positive, team-oriented attitude
