We're looking for a Sales & Marketing Manager who is equally comfortable coaching a team, analysing market opportunities and building strong customer relationships.

About the Role:

Reporting to the Managing Director, this is a broad leadership role with responsibility for sales, marketing, key account management and strategic growth across Australia, New Zealand and selected international markets.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

Lead Marketing & Brand Growth

- Lead the development and execution of the marketing strategy.
- Drive improvements across digital marketing, social media, website content and brand positioning.
- Help modernise how Guardsman engages with customers and retailers.
- Analyse marketing performance and identify opportunities to improve return on investment.

Drive Commercial Growth

- Lead sales planning and execution across Australia, New Zealand and selected international markets.
- Analyse reporting, sales performance and regional opportunities to identify quick wins and long-term growth opportunities.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity and emerging opportunities.
- Support business development, product development and market expansion initiatives.

Build Robust Customer Relationships

- Develop and maintain trusted relationships with key retail partners.




- Spend time in market, understanding customer needs and identifying opportunities firsthand.
- Conduct regular business reviews and strategic planning sessions with major accounts.
- Work collaboratively with customers on growth initiatives and promotional opportunities.

Lead and Develop the Team

- Coach, mentor and support a team of sales and marketing professionals.
- Create clear expectations and accountability while providing the autonomy for people to succeed.
- Foster a collaborative, commercially focused and customer-centric culture.

About You

You are a commercially minded leader who enjoys building relationships, developing people and identifying opportunities for improvement. You bring a blend of sales, marketing and leadership experience, with a particular strength in modern marketing and customer engagement.

You'll bring:

- Experience in a Sales & Marketing leadership role.
- Strong marketing capability, particularly across digital channels, social media and brand development.
- Experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
- Excellent relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Strong commercial, analytical and reporting capability.
- The ability to balance strategic thinking with a hands-on approach.
- Experience working with retailers, distributors or national accounts.

Highly regarded:

- Experience within the furniture, bedding, retail services, consumer products, finance or insurance sectors.
- Export or international market experience.
