Job Description

Holfords Pools is seeking an experienced Pool Technician to join our team in Bellevue Hill, NSW. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to work in a dynamic, customer-focused environment. As a Pool Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, servicing, and repairing swimming pools and associated equipment for our valued clients. This role is essential to ensuring our customers enjoy secure, clean, and well-maintained pools throughout the year. You will be based in the Bellevue Hill area and will work on-site at various client locations.

What you'll be doing

n

Conducting routine pool maintenance including water testing, chemical balancing, and filtration system checks

n

Servicing and repairing pool pumps, filters, heating systems, and other mechanical equipment

n

Installing and maintaining pool equipment such as skimmers, returns, and chlorinators

n

Identifying and diagnosing equipment faults and providing cost-effective solutions

n

Performing pool cleaning including vacuuming, brushing, and tile maintenance

n

Providing expert advice to clients regarding pool care and maintenance best practices

n

Maintaining detailed service records and documentation for all work completed

n

Responding promptly to service calls and emergency repairs

n

Ensuring all work complies with relevant health and safety standards and regulations

n

What we're looking for

n

Proven experience working as a Pool Technician or in a similar maintenance role within the aquatics industry

n

Strong knowledge of pool chemistry, filtration systems, and pool equipment

n

Competency in using diagnostic tools and testing equipment

n

A valid driver's licence

n





Excellent customer service and communication skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly

n

Physical fitness to perform hands-on work including lifting, climbing, and bending

n

Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high safety standards

n

Problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work independently as well as part of a team
