We are looking for a Performance Engineer to join the team on a fixed-term basis until February 2027. You’ll help drive the performance of our treatment processes, supporting the growth of our resource recovery opportunities and improving environmental outcomes across the business. You’ll build data and digital solutions to monitor and report on system performance, work closely with operational and engineering teams, and identify opportunities to improve how we operate and maintain our Resource Recovery assets. You will:

Support process engineering analysis to optimise treatment steps, plant and equipment

Identify and deliver improvements to existing manufacturing processes and procedures

Collate and analyse resource recovery performance data using established tools and methods

Prepare and coordinate performance and analytics reporting for Resource Recovery teams

Execute elements of the Resource Recovery digital roadmap using agile and design-thinking approaches

Review current operations and lead continuous improvement initiatives

Contribute to a culture of innovation, collaboration and idea generation

Apply risk management practices within your area of responsibility

Your Opportunity

We are looking for a Performance Engineer to join the team on a fixed-term basis until February 2027. You’ll help drive the performance of our treatment processes, supporting the growth of our resource recovery opportunities and improving environmental outcomes across the business. You’ll build data and digital solutions to monitor and report on system performance, work closely with operational and engineering teams, and identify opportunities to improve how we operate and maintain our Resource Recovery assets. You will:

About you

- A university degree in Engineering
- 3-6 years of relevant experience
- Strong data analysis and reporting skills
- Ability to work independently and provide technical guidance to others
- A collaborative, action-oriented approach and a genuine interest in continuous improvement
