This is the senior role for Business Analysis atBizCover. It combines three complementary strengths: working hands-on with modern AI tools, shaping how the analysis practiceoperatesand matures, andlifting the AI capabilitiesthe growthof the analysts around you.

About the role

- You'llremain hands-on in your craft, using AI to streamline how analysis isdone-designing prompts, agents and supporting tooling, and integrating analysis into the systems and repositories our teams work in. The goal is to move from a stakeholder problem to a well-formed set of requirements,ticketsand development handoff more efficiently than traditional approaches allow.
- You'llshape the directionof the Business Analysis practice: how it works, how it develops, and the quality of work it produces. A key part of this is developing the team-coaching analysts through real delivery and helping them build confidence with AI-assisted ways of working.You'llalso partner with the Head of Technology Delivery on hiring as the team grows.
- You'llhave genuine influence over the analysis side of our delivery lifecycle, with scope to refine it thoughtfully,considering which artefacts add the most value, where steps can be simplified, and where human review is most beneficial.
- One of the most interesting challenges in this role is product knowledge.



Our products are genuinely complex, spanning more than 50 product lines, each with its own insurer-specific rating logic and coverage rules. Much of that knowledge currently sits across templates, applicationcodeand individualexpertise.You'llhelp bring it together into a structured,versionedand reliablesingle sourceof truth that both people and AI systems can draw on, so that new requirements can bevalidatedagainst established rules early in the process.
- You'llalso enjoy getting close to our more complex delivery work-such as migration considerations, ratinglogicand cross-system businessrules producingclear, well-tested analysis that both engineering and underwriting teams can rely on.

Requirements

About You

- You bring robust analytical foundations, with experience across complex domain logic,establishedsystems and regulated products, and a natural focus on producing clear,testableand traceable requirements.You may already have BA leadershipskills, orbe looking to step into the role.Or you maybe an individual contributorwho is happy toshareyourknowledge and the toolsyoubuildwith the teambut would prefer not to be across thepeoplemanagement. The AI uplift of the BA practice is what weare lookingforandwe are flexible onthehow.




- You have a genuine interest in AI and hands-on experience applying it-including areas such as context engineering, agent design, tooluseand validation-along with a practical understanding of where these tools work well and where human judgementremainsessential. You enjoy experimenting and building, andyou'recomfortable working iteratively.
- While youdon'tneed to be an engineer,you'recan readcode well enough to sense-check your own requirements. You bringstrong communicationand facilitation skills,areable torun a workshop and engage confidently with senior stakeholders,and you lead in a way that others are happy to follow, sharing your knowledge generously.
- You'reat ease with complexity and enjoy finding structure within it, and you communicate credibly with both technical and executive audiences.
- Background in insurance or financial services; platform migration; building internal tooling or analyst enablement; knowledge-baseor data-modelling work; and an interest in AI-assisted delivery.
