Associate (Pathway to Professional Year)

What you'll be doing day to day

As an Associate, you will work closely with Financial Advisers to deliver exceptional advice and service to clients. Your responsibilities will include:

Preparing advice documentation, Statements of Advice (SOAs), financial modelling and research to support the delivery of client advice.

Assisting with strategy implementation and the preparation of client recommendations.

Participating in client meetings and help maintain strong, professional client relationships.

Managing client records, meeting preparation, and follow-up actions to ensure a smooth advice process.

Responding to client enquiries and liaise with product providers to support ongoing client service.

Ensuring all advice documentation and client files are accurate, compliant, and completed in line with regulatory requirements.

What we're looking for

1-2 years' experience in a financial planning, paraplanning, or associate role.

Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business, Finance, Commerce,



or a related field (mandatory).

RG146 compliant, with a genuine interest in progressing towards a Financial Adviser career pathway.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to research and interpret technical information.

High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering accurate, compliant work.

Experience using financial planning software and CRM systems is advantageous, but not essential.

Competitive salary package: $75,000 – $90,000 (commensurate with experience)
