As the firm continues to grow,



they are seeking an experienced Special Counsel to step into a genuine leadership position, working on retail leasing and broader commercial property matters across Queensland while mentoring junior lawyers within a collaborative and supportive team.

n About the role:n
n

The role centres on retail leasing and shopping centre matters, complemented by a broader commercial property and business law caseload.

n
n

n
n
- Retail leasing transactions and shopping centre investment matters across Queensland
n
n
- Commercial property sales, purchases and leasing more broadly
n
n
- Strata titling and property development files
n
n
- Business sales and purchases, and shareholder or corporate restructuring
n
n
- Commercial contracts and franchising matters
n
n
- Managing complex files autonomously while mentoring junior lawyers
n
n

n
n What you'll bring:n
n

n
n
- 5-7+ years PAE in commercial property, retail leasing and/or commercial law - Private practice experience essential (5 years minimum)
n
n
- Confidence managing clients and files autonomously
n
n
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills
n
n
- A commercially astute and culturally aware approach to client service
n
n
- Mandarin or Cantonese language skills highly regarded, though not essential
n
n
- Current unrestricted Queensland practising certificate
n
n
