About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Production Hand to join our Supply Chain and Production team.
This is a hands-on role within a chemical manufacturing environment, supporting the safe and efficient production, packing, storage, and movement of chemical products. You will work across a range of production and warehouse activities and play an key role in maintaining quality, safety, and productivity.
Key Responsibilities
Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
Production & Manufacturing
- Blending and pouring chemicals in accordance with established procedures
- Packing and assembling finished chemical products
- Operating production equipment, including drum washing, pack line, and mixing equipment
- Manual packing and replenishment of stock
- Processing wastewater and hydro balance processing
- Reviewing and following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Warehouse & Logistics
- Receiving, loading and unloading deliveries and trucks
- Picking and preparing customer orders
- Identifying, labelling and safely storing stock
- Operating a forklift and undertaking warehouse and chemical storage duties
- Assisting with stocktakes and inventory management
General Operations
- Performing general cleaning and maintenance duties as required
- Performing logistics and production office functions as required
- Ordering equipment and assisting with stock requirements
- Attending team meetings and contributing to continuous improvement
- Undertaking other duties as required to support the Production and Supply Chain teams

You will be expected to work in accordance with our Quality, Safety and Environmental (QSE) Management Systems, ensuring that all activities are carried out safely, efficiently and in compliance with company procedures,
as well as applicable customer, statutory and regulatory requirements.
You will be expected to:

About You To be successful in this role, you will have: Essential
- A current Forklift Licence
- Minimum 3 years' experience in chemical mixing and packing
- Minimum 5 years' experience in chemical production or a related industry
- Experience working safely around chemicals and production equipment
- A strong understanding of workplace health and safety requirements
- Good attention to detail and a commitment to product quality
- The ability to follow procedures and Standard Operating Procedures
- A reliable, practical and team-focused approach to work
- The ability to work across different production and warehouse functions as required
Desirable
- Current First Aid Certification
- Experience working within a formal Quality, Safety and Environmental Management System
- Experience in warehouse, logistics or manufacturing environments
