National Networks Plus is seeking an experienced Behaviour Support Practitioner (Proficient or Advanced level) to join our growing allied health team in a maternity leave contract position.
This is an exciting prospect for a practitioner who is passionate about improving the quality of life of people living with disability and enjoys working within a supportive, collaborative, and values-driven organisation.
About the Role You will work with NDIS participants, families, support teams and stakeholders to:
- Conduct functional behaviour assessments
- Develop evidence-based Behaviour Support Plans
- Implement strategies that reduce restrictive practices
- Provide training and support to carers and support workers
- Monitor outcomes and prepare NDIS reporting requirements
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary environment
About You To be successful, you will:
- Be assessed at Proficient or Advanced level under the NDIS Behaviour Support Capability Framework
- Have experience conducting assessments and developing Behaviour Support Plans
- Demonstrate a person-centred and positive behaviour support approach
- Possess excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Hold a current driver's licence and access to a vehicle
- Have or be willing to obtain relevant NDIS screening and compliance requirements
