Our clinics, Mersey Community Hospital in Latrobe and Devonport are currently seeking Permanent Full-Time or Part time experienced Radiographersto join our team! As the area's main provider of radiology services, you will be exposed to a multitude of unique and interesting cases, in both a public hospital and busy outpatient clinic workplace.

n

Reporting to theChief Technologist, in this role you will be responsible for driving high quality and efficient imaging services across a range of modalitiesincluding General X-Ray, CT and theatre, working 7.6 hour shifts between7:00am – 11:00pm, with weekend and on call work as required.

Key responsibilities:

n

- Managing patients and operating specialised medical imaging equipment such asGeneral X-Ray, CT and Theatre II.
n
- Consistently delivering high levels of patient care and service
n
- Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with patients, referrers, staff and managers
n
- Promoting and maintaining the highest quality and safety standards
n

Key selection criteria:

n

n
- Current relevant Radiography Radiation licence and professional registration
n
- Appropriate qualifications in Medical Imaging Technology/Diagnostic Medical Radiography
n
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of health professionals and corporate staff
n
- Previous experience in CT is an advantage, but immediate training in CT will be offered to the right candidate
n
