BML Remediation is seeking an experienced and qualified Senior Restoration Technician to join the team in Coopers Plains. The role involves assessing water, mould, fire, smoke and other property damage, managing restoration projects from initial assessment through to completion, and providing professional service to clients. Most work will be completed throughout Brisbane, with occasional travel to the Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast and surrounding areas.

Key responsibilities

- Assessing water, mould, fire, smoke and other property damage
- Managing restoration projects from the initial assessment through to completion
- Completing water extraction, structural drying, mould remediation and fire damage restoration
- Setting up, monitoring and removing drying and restoration equipment
- Using moisture meters and other specialist monitoring equipment
- Preparing clear and accurate reports, assessments and job documentation
- Ensuring work is completed in accordance with applicable IICRC standards, including AS-IICRC S500 and AS-IICRC S520
- Liaising professionally with clients, insurers, builders and other stakeholders
- Identifying issues and recommending appropriate restoration solutions
- Maintaining equipment, vehicles and work areas

About you

- Current IICRC or RIA qualifications
- Experience as a Restoration Technician,



Senior Restoration Technician or Restoration Project Manager
- A sound understanding of water-loss categories and classes
- Experience using moisture meters, dehumidifiers, air movers and water-extraction equipment
- The ability to prepare accurate reports and maintain clear job records
- A current driver's licence
- Good communication and customer-service skills
- The ability to work independently and contribute positively to a team
- The physical fitness required to perform manual duties in a range of environments

A competitive hourly rate of $35–$45, based on qualifications and experience
